
About
Hélène Ouellette-Kuntz (PhD) is an epidemiologist and Professor in the Departments of Public Health Sciences and Psychiatry (Division of Developmental Disabilities) at Queen's University. She has a PhD in Human Geography and an MSc in Epidemiology, both from Queen's University.
Research
Dr. Ouellette-Kuntz’s research involves working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, family members, service providers and policy makers, and has included analysis of administrative datasets in British Columbia, Manitoba and Ontario. She is currently leading research on aging and frailty experienced by adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Details about her research are found at mapsresearch.ca She is also a project lead within the Health Care Access Research and Developmental Disabilities research program.
Her research has been funded by grants from the Ontario Ministry of Community and Social Services, The Canadian Frailty Network, SSHRC and CIHR.
Note that Dr. Ouellette-Kuntz will not be taking on any new PhD Students for the 2018-19 academic year.
